Parking will be available in the Warner Park lot until such time that it is full. In previous years, the lot has been full by early afternoon.
Cars parked in Warner Park, Northside Town Center and other nearby parking lots WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to leave those parking areas until at least 12:00 Midnight. It is the goal of the Madison Police Department to expedite large crowds of people walking from the park and to clear the nearby roadways of parked cars to facilitate the flow of an extraordinary amount of vehicles leaving the area.
Madison Police encourage you to walk to the Park if at all possible. If you do drive, please park your car facing in the direction you'll be leaving. Detailed traffic maps showing Directional flow patterns will be published on our website and in all local media just prior to the event. If you do travel by car, please obey all posted NO PARKING signs. Remember, you cannot park within 4' of a driveway, within 15' of a crosswalk and always leave at least 2' of space between parked cars. If your vehicle is ticketed and towed, it will cost you between $75 and $100. Towed vehicles will be taken to Mendota Mental Health Institute, 301 Troy Drive.
Additional Handicapped Parking spaces have been added in the Warner Park parking lot near the shelter house.
No overnight parking is allowed in any City Park. Vehicles will be ticketed and towed.
Except for sport utility vehicles and pick-up trucks, NO motor homes, campers, large trucks, and other RV's will be allowed in the Warner Park lot. Northside Town Center, located directly across Sherman Avenue from Warner Park, will provide parking for a fee.
Parking is available at Northside Town Center on a first come first served basis; no reservations are accepted. For additional information contact Jon Bruns at 608-843-0550, or email jonbruns14@yahoo.com . Parking is $20 per car or $80 for any vehicle requiring more than one parking space, including mobile homes and RVs.
Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, but please respect the residents of those neighborhoods and do not park across driveways, in front of fire hydrants, etc. Please make sure that you are not blocking any emergency vehicle access that might be required in the narrower neighborhood streets. Neighborhood parking will be limited the closer you get to Warner Park. If you plan on arriving after 6pm, you may be forced to park at least 10 blocks away, so please plan accordingly.
Parking is also available at the Dane County Regional Airport. Park your car and walk to nearby Warner Park. This lot costs $6 per vehicle, and is payable by CREDIT CARD ONLY when you exit the lot. The MATC shuttle bus service does not stop at the airport.
